MRSA Screening – Statement of Compliance

In line with the Department of Health Guidance on MRSA screening (Operational Guidance 3), Birmingham Women’s NHS Foundation Trust has reviewed and extended its MRSA screening arrangements to include screening for all relevant  emergency admissions.

The Trust’s MRSA Screening Policy is now available on the Trust’s internet and intranet sites for all Trust staff and the general public.

Compliance with the MRSA Screening Policy will be monitored and reported to the Infection Control Committee via the Directorate Performance Reports.
