Work Experience at Birmingham Women's NHS Foundation Trust

Hello and Welcome to the Birmingham Women's NHS Foundation Trust

Please note: Due to the increase in requests for work experience, the Trust does not have any vacancies for work experience placements until September 2012. Applications for placements in September 2012 will be welcome from July 2012 onwards.

Birmingham Women’s Hospital recognises the importance of work experience, not only to provide individuals with an insight into potential NHS careers, but also as a means of initial contact with potential future employees. Therefore the Trust is committed to supporting the local employment support services, schools, colleges, adult training organisations and any individual requiring work experience within the Trusts service areas

As from September 2012 we will be able to offer a number of 'work experience programmes' for students from the ages of 14 years. Depending on your age, we can offer a variety on placements throughout the Trust. For example:

Radiology
Informatics
Human Resources
Education Resources Centre
Medical Records
Medical Secretaries
Library.
Hotel Services
Front of House
