Antenatal Points to Remember
Please take your green pregnancy hand held records with you for all of your appointments. - Always take a urine sample to each visit
- Refer to the pregnancy planner for a guide of when you need to be seen during your pregnancy and what you can expect at each visit
- If you have any concerns before you are 17 weeks, we advise you to see your GP. It is only your G/P who can then refer you to our early pregnancy assessment unit (EPAU).
- After 17 weeks ideally see your G/P or speak to your midwife. They are often able to resolve concerns.
- We have a triage service available for additional assessments if required.
- You will find appropriate telephone numbers on the front of your green pregnancy notes.
